Friday Update / NFL Numbers

OK to say I'm glad that yesterday is over would be the understatement of the year I think.
Missed on both of my Member Baseball bets of which one was the A's +125 which I gave out here .Not the end of the world as it happens occasionally to all of us no matter what the so called experts on Twitter would have you believe .I this business if you can hit between 55 and 58% over the long term you can make a very nice living.You can forget 60 % and above because it simply does not , and will not ever happen over time .It's a Mathematical Impossibility , and I'm telling you from the point of view of a guy who's been doing it Professionally all of my adult life.Now that's certainly not told to discourage you one bit .Because if you exercise  proper money management  and keep to a disciplined approach then you can , and will make money .
What I wanted to talk a bit about today are NFL Numbers and what the Book is actually telling you with those numbers.First off I have to start by telling you that Professional Sports Bettors in the NFL Bet numbers and not teams period .Wins and losses over time are in direct correlation to being on the right , or the wrong side of the number .I'll break it down pretty simply .If you continuously  lay -7.5 and take +6.5 you have very little chance to be successful in this business .But flip the coin over , and those laying -6.5 and taking +7.5 over time will most assuredly turn a nice profit.
I can't think of a better real life example than this weeks Lions / Eagles Match up .
If you were quick at the switch and grabbed the Lions thinking the Eagles laying -6.5 was a bit inflated you could have grabbed Detroit at +6.5 , and if things were to break real nicely for you on Sunday and the current line of Eagles -3.5 were to drop to -3, and even at the current number .You would have created a very nice middle opportunity for yourself where if the game were to land on 4,5,6 you would win both sides with the Lions Cashing
and assuming the Eagles win by a 4,5,6 point Margin  you're in the Front Row.I don't see the Books dropping this number any further and believe you might even see a bit more come on Philly on Sunday .
One other thing that you may or may not know us when you here talk of Syndicates , and Groups .A good majority of those are actually Bookmakers that are taking a Position on a game .Now knowing that you should have a completely different view of the number and you need to decipher whether a move is legit , or if they want to swing the public one way and come Sunday grab the other at a much more attractive price .
